Born from the happy marriage of Merlot and Cabernet.
Fermented in stainless steel and matured in precious wood where it has dreamt of a long adventurous life... From its intense ruby red the nose perceives a bouquet of red fruits, blackberries plums, laurel, spices and coffee.
In the mouth round and civilised with a final persistence and elegance.
To combine with tasty meat dishes or mountain cheeses.
Grapes: 50 % Cabernet Sauvignon 50% Merlot
Vineyard location: on the hills of the Adige Valley at about 150 meters above sea level
Soil type: alluvial landfill, clay loam soil with the presence of stones which favors an excellent drainage.
Vine training system: Guyot
Viniﬁcation: the grapes are harvested by hand after a careful selection of the best grapes, then viniﬁed in stainless steel tanks. Cabernet and Merlot are harvested and vinified separately and get together in bottles.
The fermentation takes place with an 10-15 days maceration on the skins and at a controlled temperature of 25/27 degrees.
The wine ages for 12 months in mostly new oak barrels and an additional 12 months in bottle.
To be served at: 18°-20° C.
